Three summer favourites from L’Erbolario and Apivita

Hello my lovely readers today I want to share with you three products that have become a must-have for me in the summer time, ever since I discovered them. I remembered to write about them now that I am currently packing for the seaside and I realized that I haven’t shared with you how much I love them. They are travelling with me of course. They are L’Erbolario Invisible Sunscreen Veil Spray for the body SPF 50, Apivita Suncare Oil Balance Light-texture Face Cream Tinted and Apivita Greek Mountain Tea Face Water.Lerbolario_invisible_sunscreen_veil_spray_beautyinfiveminutescom
L’Erbolario Invisible Sunscreen Veil Spray for the body SPF 50

Let’s start with L’Erbolario Invisible Sunscreen Veil Spray for the body SPF 50, with oils of Prickly Pear and Desert date – Water resistant. The oils of Prickly Pear and Desert Date give nourishment to the skin, while the Alpha bisabolol, has a softening and refreshing effect, leaving the skin not streaky or sticky.

Instructions for use: Shake well before use. Generously apply the product before exposure to the sun and reapply several times a day and after bathing. Avoid direct contact with fabric. This product is not suitable for children under 3 years of age.

The product is very light and pleasant on the skin, it absorbs almost immediately, leaving a fine protective layer that feels comfortable and not at all greasy. Due to its 50 SPF I felt fully protected from the burning sun the previous time I went to the seaside. I did not burn at all, my skin did not peel and at the end of the stay it looked gorgeously tanned in a healthy, pleasant way. It has become a must-have in my bag every summer and I love it very much. From me it gets the A grade (I almost don’t want to try another similar product since I am so very happy with this one).

The second favourite in the hot season is definitely the Apivita Suncare Oil Balance Light-texture Face Cream Tinted (I use it the entire hot season not only in the summer time or at the seaside and sometimes in the rest of the seasons). It has 83% natural ingredients providing a high sun care protection SPF 30, while controlling the face oil to give a matte look and an even coverage to the skin.

It has a light texture that contains: a helichrysum extract that ensures a matte look while balancing oiliness and the innovative 3D PRO ALGAE® complex (an infusion with three types of organic Greek mountain tea and hyaluronic acid that moisturize the skin in depth) that maintains the skin’s three-dimensional structure, acting effectively against photoaging, the no. 1 cause of premature aging. Another ingredient is the infusion with three types of organic Greek mountain tea that offers strong antioxidant protection, enhancing the skin’s defense against oxidative stress caused by adverse external effects (UV radiation, environmental pollution). Its natural, organic filters provide effective protection from UVA & UVB radiation. NO Alcohol, Parabens, Silicones, Mineral oil, Ethanolamines, Phthalates, Propylene glycol, Butylene glycol (12 months valability).

Instructions for use: Apply a sufficient amount daily on the face, neck and cleavage, before exposure to the sun, ideally after applying the face serum. During periods of excessive exposure to sunlight, re-apply during the day as well, especially after wiping your face or after perspiration.

It has a light, pleasant texture that can be blended onto the skin with the fingers (preferred) or make-up tools, that creates a light coverage that can be a bit built if added more. I love it due to its time-saving feature and versatility: it is a good face cream, a great spf (30) and a light coverage make-up base. It has a discrete vanilla scent combined pleasantly with a discrete specific spf scent; I like it, it doesn’t bother me (I have sensitive liver therefore I can’t stand certain scents). I didn’t have any allergic reactions to this cream, my face felt protected and comfortable.

In the summer time my combination skin becomes quite oily so I can’t stand almost any products onto my face, that is why I am happy to use this product – it saves me three products, it has a light texture that doesn’t linger too much on the skin, a good spf, and a light tint as I like my make-up very light in the summer. Onto my skin it is not fully matte, just natural and perfect, not shiny, but not matte either. It gives the skin a natural, healthy glow. Another A from me (another re-purchase).

Apivita Greek Mountain Tea Face Water

And last but not least one of my favourite cooling/hydrating on-the-go products in the summer. It has 97% natural ingredients providing the antioxidant protection, rejuvenation and revitalization of the skin. It is a Greek mountain (from organic crops on Mt Olympus) tea infused water to moisturize and protect the skin against premature aging. It protects against anti-oxidants and enhances the skin’s ability to defend itself against external triggers of oxidative stress (UV radiation and environmental pollution). It rejuvenates and tones the skin and soothes and offers a sensation of freshness.

Instructions for use: Spray directly on the skin from a 30 cm distance:
• Before make-up or after removing make-up for skin revitalization.
• Before and during sun exposure for antioxidant and photoprotective effect, before using sunscreen.
• After sun exposure for freshness, rejuvenation and recovery from damage caused by solar radiation.
• During the day for rejuvenation and freshness.
• On face and body after shower or physical activity.
NO Alcohol, Parabens, Silicones, Mineral oil, Ethanolamines, Phthalates, Propylene glycol, Butylene glycol (6 months valability).

I used it in the hot season all the time to refresh and rehydrate the skin (on the face, neck, shoulders and other exposed parts of the body). I did not feel any discomfort on the skin no matter how dried or tanned it was. My skin felt refreshed, rehydrated, soothed and very, very happy. It has a discrete, sweet scent I like. What I did not like was that its 100 ml were not enough! I want a bigger size, since I go through it very fast. Another A from me! I know that these products are not the most affordable but they are really good quality and value for the money, you can find both L’erbolario and Apivita products at Sensiblu.

And that’s it from me for now! I have many products in tests to share with you, and many already finished waiting patiently for me to find the time and write about them. I will definitely be back on the blog after my seaside vacay and share with you my impressions and thoughts. Tell me Have you tried any L’erbolario and Apivita products? What are your impressions/recommendations? Until next time, Love, M
