Hello my lovely readers today’s post is a review for a lip mask, a product I have wanted to try for a long time, the Sephora Shea Lip Mask. I am a great lover of masks but I haven’t tried a lip mask before and I was very curious about its effects. So I went into a Sephora store and bought this one.
The Sephora Shea Lip Mask is described as a mask with Shea designed to protect and repair the chapped or over dried lips. It is a soothing, leave-on lip mask that replenishes, nourishes, and moisturizes the lips in around 15 minutes.
Directions for use :
Remove the transparent protective films from each side of the mask.
Position the mask on the lips, as shown on the diagram.
Leave on for 15 minutes.
Remove the mask and gently massage in any excess product into the skin.
No need to rinse.
This bio-cellulose mask is a sheet-type mask, that comes in the shape of lips (very cute concept, I love it) and is imbibed with a gel-like liquid. After removing the transparent protective films from each side of the mask I placed it on my lips and left it there for around 15 to 20 minutes.
My lips are usually not extremely chapped or dehydrated because I like to use lip balms a lot and exfoliate them once a week so the effects of this mask were not very visible on my lips. I felt my lips hydrated, soft and comfortable after this mask. I would buy it again especially for the winter time when my lips get very chapped and dry no matter what I do because of the wind and low temperatures.
Ingredients : Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Propanediol, Arginine, Carbomer, Xanthan Gum, Panthenol, Allantoin, Sodium Citrate, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Polysorbate 20, Disodium EDTA, Tocopheryl Acetate, Butyrospermum Parkii Butter (Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter)), Leontopodium Alpinum Extract.
The mask is formulated without parabens.
The Sephora Shea Lip Mask is available in all Sephora store and online on its official site at the price of 11 ron/3 dollars.
All in all, I liked the Sephora Shea Lip Mask, the effects were not very wow on my lips but I didn’t expect it to. I would buy it again in the winter time to keep my lips as hydrated and soft as possible. It is easy to use and decently priced so I would definitely buy the lip masks from Sephora. I am interested to try the other Rose based lip mask from Sephora so come back on this blog to read my impressions on it. Tell me : Have you tried any of the Sephora masks ? What are your impressions ? Until next time, Love, M
