Hello my lovely readers I’m back with a new nail polish review after the Easter holiday. I have worn the star of this post the nail polish Rimmel 60 seconds Nail Polish in 621 Mary Mary Quite Contrary since last Thursday (now it’s Tuesday) and it’s still going strong (a little chipped on two nails), which is quite a feat for me!! So I thought I would show it to you.
It is part of the Rimmel 60 Seconds nail polish range that promises to get fantastic colour and shine in just 60 Seconds! 1 stroke, 1 coat, 1 minute drying time and you will get fantastic looking nails. Perfection, isn’t it ?
It is a gorgeous pale lavender shade, perfect for the spring. When I wear it , it reminds me of the small and perfumed lilac tree in my garden, which I adore. It has a wider brush which I love, it makes it so easy to apply evenly on the nails. I applied it over the Farmec treatment polish I used as a base, then topped it off with the Milani Glosse Top Coat. It dries very fast in one minute or so for the first layer, I added another two layers to get the colour shade I wanted.
I paired it with the very useful Melkior Nail Laquer Correction Pen (perfect for the clumsy polish users like me, who always dirty the nails with the nail polish). I adore it, I can easily clean the nail polish around the nail to make it look perfect.
I love the fact that it dried very quickly compared with other nail polishes, and it stayed on for so long (6 days) and is still looking great with minimal chipping! (which is a record for me). I also love the colour and how it looks on my nails. It can be found in stores and online at the price of aprox. 8 ron. From me, it definitely gets an A (great quality, fast drying, long-lasting, great colour, good price)! I leave you with more pictures. Until next time, Love, M
