Festive Glitter make-up look

Hello my lovely readers, today I bring you some variations of a Festive Glitter make-up look, perfect for the New Year’s Eve night or any other celebrations. I haven’t done a make-up look for a long time so it was time I did some. The stars of these make-up looks are the MustaeV Moonlight Powder in Champagne and the Starlight Powders in Pink and Gold. I have thought about showing you some of my daily make-up looks and the products I use for a long time because I want to show you the products in the make-up look, on the face, not only in swatches, writing about them.)  Let’s begin :

The first make-up look : Discrete eyes, Bold Metallic lips

I started with a face cleanse using a micellar water, then applied a cream with a high SPF to moisturize the face. After letting it be absorbed into the skin I applied the Inglot Under Make-up Base, then a mix between Kat Von D Lock-In foundation (a bit dark for me right now) and the Estee Lauder Double Wear Nude Foundation (too light for me) to the face with my Sigma kabuki brush, blending it well onto the face and neck. I followed with the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer (one of the best drugstore concealers I’ve tried) covering my dark circles and over my lids as a base, and I set them both with the MustaeV Silky Cotton Loose Powder.

Onto the cheeks I used sparingly the beautiful golden-pink Rose Spritz blush and the Champagne Pop highlighter from the limited edition Becca palette with Jacklin Hill

Then I moved to the eyes, I used over the lids as a color base the Highlight shadow (matte white) from Kryolan Eye shadow Compact Make-up palette – 8 – Shading Matt blending it well over the lid. Kryolan Professional Make-up is found exclusively at Topline. Then I used a very light touch of the Aubergine shade (the medium dark reddish-pinkish shade) mixed with a bit of Sunlit (the shade above the Aubergine) to create a very soft shadow in the crease. I also dusted a bit of the same mix under the eye for a bit of very soft definition.

I blended the a light shimmery pink shade from Inglot onto the lid and added the Inglot shimmery golden shade (top right) under the brows and in the inner corner. I wet a flat make-up brush with the Nyx Matte Finish setting spray and I patted the MustaeV Starlight Powder in Pink over the lid. I added another layer patting with my finger for a better grip and I lightly removed the excess with a fluffy brush. For a better eye definition I use the Flormar Eyeliner in black. The result is a shimmery, discrete eye look that will complement well the bold lips to come.

I forgot to use the mascara :))   I used the Golden Rose Longstay Brow Pencil (a perfect dupe for the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz) on the brows for a little bit more definition.

The result is a beautiful, bold pinkish metallic lip. I love it! And I have another Festive Glitter make-up look to show you: a three-in-one, meaning you can change the lip shade to suit your preference and occasion.

The second three-in-one make-up look : Bold eyes, playful lips

Then I moved to the eyes, I used over the lids and a bit under the eyes as a color base the Avon Super Shock Eyeliner gel in dark blue then I blended it well with a brush. On the crease I used the Sunlit shade from Kryolan Eye shadow Compact Make-up palette – 8 – Shading Matt and blend it well. On the lid over the blue base and a bit under the eyes I used the Night Blue shade (dark blue) from the Kryolan palette and blend it again. In the inner corner and under the brows I added the Highlight shade from the Kryolan palette. To add a bit of glamour I wet my brush with the Nyx Matte Finish setting spray and I used the MustaeV Starlight Powder in Gold over the lid. I patted some more with my finger.

I had the opportunity to play a bit with the Kryolan Eye shadow Compact Make-up palette – 8 – Shading Matt and I like it very much. The shades are very versatile, you can create both discrete, natural day looks and bold night time looks. The shades are very smooth and intense and they have little drop-out. I will be back with a separate review on the Kryolan palette on the blog soon.

Unfortunately the light and my camera distorted the color of the eye shadow towards green but trust my word it is blue.

I used my Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extreme mascara in two layers on the top lashes and on the bottom lashes to better define the eyes. I used the Golden Rose Longstay Brow Pencil (a perfect dupe for the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz) on the brows for a little bit more definition.

I decided to create three different options for the lips to go with this eye look. Firstly on the lips I used the MustaeV Glazing Lip Gloss in Golden Peach for a bold eye, nude lip look. On my lips the gloss has a rose-gold shade due to my lip color.

The second lip look is bolder, using the Muah liquid lipstick in 50 Shades of Red, a hot red matte shade which I adore.

The third lip look is even more glamour, I used the Muah liquid lipstick in 50 Shades of Red and over it I patted the MustaeV Moonlight Powder in Champagne. The result is a beautiful shade on my lips I love.
