Elmiplant Skin Moisture CC Cream in Light, review

I have received questions about this CC cream I have had for quite a while so I decided that a review is in order. I really like Elmiplant products I had face creams and make-up removal products and I got along well with them. Today’s post is about Elmiplant Skin Moisture CC Cream.

Elmiplant Skin Moisture CC Cream is part of the Skin Moisture range and it offers hydration, good coverage, creates an even skin tone, it has skin illuminating ingredients, it protects the skin against the sun radiations -SPF 20- and promises to reduce the pores and fine lines. Many promises, don’t you think ?

It is available in two shades Light and Medium. It was created for the ladies with ages between 20 and 35 and due to the 100% natural Quince Extract and HYDRONUTRIENT 24H tehnology it keeps the skin hydrated up to 24 hours. No parabens and paraffin. Dermatologically tested.

It comes in a 50 ml plastic squeezy tube and has a valability of 12 months. The cap is sturdy and it secures the recipient safely so it’s perfect for travelling or touch-ups during the day. It has a light texture that is very easily absorbed into the skin.

The scent is sweet and very pleasant and it immediately dissapears. The coverage is indeed light and even if you add another layer the coverage is still light. It evens the skin tone a little but it doesn’t cover the major imperfections, as you can see in the swatches below.

It does hydrate the skin, I feel very good wearing it, the face doesn’t have that tightening feeling and due to its moisturizing texture I always have to set it with powder or else I will have a shiny face. After setting with powder the make-up lasts for a good part of the day around 6-8 hours. At the end of the day the shine does reappear and the CC cream dissapears around the nose area.

I didn’t see a noticeable reduction in the fine lines or the pores. I didn’t have any skin reactions to this CC cream like itching or reddening of the skin. You can see the ingredients below :

You can find it in stores and online at the price of 18 ron for 50 ml.
All in all, Elmiplant Skin Moisture CC Cream in Light is a good daily base, it nourishes and it evens out the skin, it provides good sun protection (SPF 20) but it doesn’t have a good coverage and it doesn’t reduce the fine lines or the pores. It is easily available in the stores and has a decent price. Thefore I give it the B grade. If you don’t need a good coverage in a base check out this CC cream in the stores! Until next time,  Love M
