I have declared a while ago my great love for Batiste dry shampoo Xxl Volume. I adore it, it refreshes rapidly my oily hair and also gives it a boost of volume. In August there was a good offer in all Batiste dry shampoos so I took advantage and bought a few more to have in my stash. I have finished the Batiste dry shampoo Original so now it’s time to share with you my impressions on it.
Batiste Dry Shampoo is a starch based product with an innovative ‘no water needed formula’ which banishes oily roots and boosts body giving dull lifeless hair the makeover that it needs without any water. A quick burst revitalises hair leaving it feeling clean and fresh. No need to worry about skipping a shampoo.
Instructions for use : Batiste is simple and easy to use. Shake the can vigorously before use. Separate hair into sections and spray into roots in quick short bursts (holding the can about 30cm away from your hair). Leave for a few moments, massage through, brush out any excess and you are good to go! For extra texture and body don’t brush through. Batiste can be used on most types of hair.
I had the 200ml/ 6.73 oz bottle. I have followed the instructions and indeed the results were significant, my hair lost its greasy appearance, but had no volume as with the XXL Volume and became stronger and easier to style (my hair is very soft and therefore hard to style without strong styling products). Ingredients below :
You can find it in all Sensiblu pharmacies, Douglas and online (Asos.com) at the price of aprox. 5 pounds/28 ron.
All in all, Batiste dry shampoo Original is great for refreshing the oily hair. It doesn’t add volume and body to a fine, flat hair like mine. Although I love, love, love it for my oily hair, I still prefer to buy the XXL Volume for the extra oomph of volume and body it gives my hair! Batiste dry shampoo is a wonderful product so I wholeheartedly give it the A grade no matter what type it is!! Until next time , Love, M
